Reekado Banks has released his new five-track EP, “Worthy Challenger,” a project whose title carries a deeper meaning beyond the music.
The singer recently revealed that the EP is a direct response to Burna Boy’s viral 2020 tweet dismissing him as a “worthy challenger” during a social media exchange.
He also jokingly hinted that a future project could be titled “Clout Animal,” referencing Wizkid’s memorable 2020 remark directed at him.
Rather than dwell on past controversies, “Worthy Challenger” sees Reekado Banks reclaiming the narrative through music, delivering five tracks that reflect his growth, confidence and artistic evolution.
The EP marks another chapter in his career, turning years of online discourse into creative expression while reminding listeners why he remains one of Afrobeats’ most gifted hitmakers.
