Vibez Inc’s 12 projects in 2 months: A Breakdown

Prolific. There isn’t a more appropriate word to describe street artists and their approach to music, other than labelling them as prolific artists. And this dates back to the last decade when we had the greatest street artist ever in Olamide Baddo, dropping an album every year for seven years straight. Now in this generation, we have his protege and the biggest street act ever in Asake who has dropped 2 albums in 2 years and is primed for his third one very soon. Being prolific is not just a Vibez Inc thing, it’s a street act thing.

Of course, the quality of the music is another conversation entirely and one could argue sometimes the endless stream of releases could at some point, hamper quality in the sense of the artist prioritizing quantity over quality, but nonetheless street acts have only thrived in the industry by being more prolific and productive than their peers. Which makes Vibez Inc’s approach to rolling out their new acts, not so extraneous to this writer. So in this article we would be giving a derailed breakdown of every artist and what projects they’ve dropped.

1. Muyeez

Muyeez

There is still a handful of debates as to whether or not, 2024 has produced a breakout act yet. However, if it has—Muyeez would definitely be in the conversation. His song with Seyi Vibez off the Vibez Incorporation Mixtape, Vol. 1 debuted at #1 on the Turntable Official Naija Top 100 singles chart, making him the youngest artist to ever debut. So far so good, Muyeez has been the most active—releasing 3 projects over the last 2 months.

The first was his self-titled debut EP, followed by a deluxe and then a third aptly titled “Hat Trick” to complete the trifecta. All 3 projects have peaked at #1 on the NG Apple Music albums chart.

On the same day on the 1st of December, he released both versions of his debut EP, “Timileyin 2.0” and “Timileyin” with the former peaking at #2 on the NG Apple albums music chart. “Xin Mao” is his most recent release, this year and it has also peaked at #2 on NG Apple.
