Weekly Albums Chart Round-Up: Olamide, Rema, Seyi Vibez & more

Week Of July 7th – July 13th

It’s the dawn of a new week and tradition demands that we update you on how numerous albums fared across various charts and DSP’s in the past week. From the Billboard charts to the UK charts and the various streaming platforms.

Billboard World Albums Chart

Olamide’s “Ikigai” debuts at #13 on the Billboard world albums chart, making it his 7th project to debut on the chart. Only Fela has had more albums (9) debut.

Rema’s “Rave & Roses” moved up a spot to #10 in its 101st week, Tems’s “Born In The Wild” remains at #4 in its 4th week and Ayra’s “TYIT21” dropped a spot to #7 in its 5th week.

NG Apple

Rema released his sophomore album, “HEIS” on the 11th of July, and it peaked at #1 on the NG Apple music albums chart hours after release. Then a day later, Seyi Vibez released brand new EP “Loseyi Professsor” and is now currently charting #1 on the NG Apple albums chart.

Spotify NG

Olamide’s “Ikigai” has now spent a second week at the top of the Spotify NG weekly albums chart. Rema’s “HEIS” debuted at #2, despite having only one full day of tracking. With 2.71m streams, it also had the biggest first day streams of any album in 2024.

Audiomack

Rema’s “HEIS” debuted at #1 on the Audiomack albums chart, ending Olamide’s “Ikigai” 2-week reign.

Boomplay

Olamide’s “Ikigai” retains its spot at #1 on Boomplay, for a second week running.
