The highly creative artist is set to continue his newly established musical journey with new single.
For most music lovers, including this writer, we can all agree that the first sniff of Uax as an artist we caught was from M.I Abaga’s “The Crew” off his “Rendezvous” project released in 2018. Uax was definitely not a household name at the time, but M.I’s decision to give him a cameo off the song which also featured Yung L sparked some innate ability into proper reality. Having held his own well with a fantastic contribution on the song, it oozed so much assuredness that his musical skill has so much potentials as his photography and music video directing abilities.
Although, his debut single came some four years after that moment – with time taken off to perfect his art with series of features in the process – it was only a while before this talented creative resurfaced to grab music as an art by the scruff of the neck, having previously displayed his creativity via photography and directing several music videos and visuals including Tems’ “The Key” and “Crazy Things“.
Late in 2022, Uax musical journey as an artiste began with the release of his debut single “Safe“; a soft and intimate Afro R&B rendition. That was such a brilliant introduction into life as a music creative. Now set for the release of his new single titled ‘Evergreen‘, the multifaceted act intends to continue attracting audience to his dynamic R&B fusions.
‘Evergreen‘ will mark his first release of the year, as well as his first appearance since the hugely successful debut single. It is expected to arrive on Friday, with it’s visual expected on same day. This is definitely one track to look out for amongst the large chunks of released slated for release this week.
