Being the most normal occurrence in the Nigerian music scene now, Rema has etched another milestone. The young legend effortlessly attains a fresh achievement as the days roll by.
With his debut single out for a little over a year, and the deluxe for quite a while now, Rema has become the epitome of commercial success. He has gone on to attain milestones that took at least decades to achieve within just a short span of time.
“Rave & Roses” recently became the second Nigerian album to spend 50 weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart, only behind Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” (131 weeks). He is also the fourth in Africa with the most weeks on the chart.
With this string of milestones, it has become almost inevitable that he will achieve at least one achievement per week. This is a win for Nigeria at large.
