Five months into Davido’s ‘hiatus’ due to his loss, he bounced back stronger with ‘Timeless’ album, his most solid project till date. Right from the day it was released, the album has been breaking prior set records back to back, from Biggest first day streams for a Nigerian album on Spotify and Boomplay, to even breaking the all-time record African for debut week album streams on Spotify.

On the album, all 17 tracks were potential hits but ‘Unavailable’ gained much more buzz than most others, the catchy Amapiano bop to the song and massive promotion behind it gave it the boost it needed. Taking advantage of this buzz around the song Davido released a follow up ‘Unavailable’ EP containing different versions of the song; Sped up (2 versions), Slowed down, Instrumental and Acapella.

The EP was received positively as it rose rapidly on the various charts, now it occupies the second spot on the NG Apple Album chart only behind ‘Timeless’ album, a feat only achieved by Davido. The song features South African Amapiano star Musa Keys and was produced by Magicsticks and Rage.
