Asake is continuing in his generational run of album success, with his album, “Lungu Boy” joining in the race with a new record.
The album has now surpassed 550 million streams on Spotify, overtaking Wizkid’s “Morayo” to become the 16th most streamed Nigerian project on the platform.
The 2024 album has continued to maintain strong streaming numbers more than two years after its release, further cementing its place among the country’s biggest streaming projects.
The feat also makes “Lungu Boy” the third most streamed Nigerian project released in 2024, placing it behind Ayra Starr’s “TYIT21” and Tems’ “Born in the Wild.”
