Weekly Albums Chart Round-Up: Wizkid, Asake, Rema & more

It’s the dawn of a new week and tradition demands that we update you on how numerous albums fared across various charts and DSP’s in the past week. From the Billboard charts to the UK charts and the various streaming platforms.

Billboard World Albums Chart

Tems’ “Born In The Wild” remains at #13 on this week’s Billboard world albums chart. It has now spent a total of 24 weeks on the chart.

NG Apple

Wizkid’s “Morayo” maintains its #1 peak on NG Apple music album charts, with Balloranking’s “Zero Panic, Vol. 2” replacing Kendrick Lamar’s “GNX” at #2.

Spotify NG

Wizkid’s “Morayo” recorded 35.8 MILLION opening week streams on NG Spotify. It has now become the album with the biggest opening week streams on the platform, surpassing the previous record of Asake’s “Lungu Boy” (18.9 MILLION streams.)

Audiomack

Wizkid’s “Morayo” is #1 on the Audiomack albums chart, with T.I Blaze’s “Shakur” and Balloranking’s “Zero Panic, Vol. 2” trailing behind at #2 and #3 respectively.

Boomplay

Rema’s “HEIS” retains its #1 position on the Boomplay albums chart, with Asake’s “Lungu Boy” and Young Jonn’s “Jiggy Forever” trailing behind at #2 and #3 respectively.
