Weekly Albums Chart Round-Up: Olamide, Kizz Daniel & more

It’s the dawn of a new week and tradition demands that we update you on how numerous albums fared across various charts and DSP’s in the past week. From the Billboard charts to the UK charts and the various streaming platforms.

Billboard World Albums Chart

Tyla’s “Tyla” is at #6 in its 64th week. Outside the top 10, Rema’s “Rave & Roses” is at #12 in its 140th week, Tems’ “Born In The Wild” is at #15 in its 51st week and Davido’s “5ive” is at #20 in its 8th week. Outside the top 20, we have Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” at #22 in its 159th week and Ayra’s “The Year I Turned 21” is at #25 in its 44th week.

NG Apple

Within hours of release, Olamide’s “Olamidé” peaked at #1 on the NG Apple music albums chart, dethroning Kizz Daniel’s “Uncle K: Lemon Chase.” Later on, Famous Pluto’s “Uzama The 3rd” would go on to peak at #2.

Spotify NG

After only a day of tracking, Olamide’s “Olamidé” peaks at #1 on the Spotify NG weekly albums chart. Kizz Daniel’s “Uncle K: Lemon Chase” and Davido’s “5ive” are at #2 and #3 respectively.

Audiomack

Kizz Daniel’s “Uncle K: Lemon Chase” remains at #1 on the Audiomack albums chart, with Famous Pluto’s “Uzama the 3rd” clocking in at #2. Zinoleesky’s “Gen Z” rounds up the top 3.

Boomplay

Kizz Daniel’s “Uncle K: Lemon Chase” remains at #1 on the Boomplay weekly albums chart, trailed by Black Sherrif’s “Iron Boy” and Kunmie’s “Before We Became Strangers.”
