Veteran talented singer and songwriter, Waje rounds off the year with her third album in the past 6 months.
2022 closes out with a full-length body of work from the super-talented vocalist. Waje has released her fifth studio album, titled “The Misfit”. It is her third in the past 6 months, following “Waje 2.0” released in July and “Unbroken” released in September.
The 12-track album includes features from D’Banj, Ice Prince, Passi and Josey.
On her description of the album, she wrote: “Collection of songs that connects audiences in a mix of various genres, The Misfit album blends Afrobeat and disco with leanings of hip-hop and dancehall vibes. The lyrical content explores themes of love, escapism, self-assurance, and expression. Vocally stretched to perform in all four vocal octaves flawlessly with this album.“
