Ayra Starr with “The Year I Turned 21” debuted at #80 with her album, marking a first-time chart appearance for a Nigerian female act, although she departed from the charts after a week.
Meanwhile, Tems’ “Born In The Wild” has just made an even more remarkable debut at #25, setting a new record for the highest debut by a Nigerian female artist.
Notably, out of the 14 Nigerian albums that have graced the charts, Tems and Ayra Starr hold the 10th and 11th highest for the highest peak reached, respectively.
