Today marks the release of the soundtrack album for TIWA SAVAGE’s feature film, ‘Water & Garri.’
The film, produced by Everything Savage and Unbound Studio, premieres on Amazon Prime Video alongside the soundtrack released through EMPIRE.
Curated by Savage, the immersive album features ten original tracks, blending Afropop, R&B, and Hip Hop with contributions from renowned artists like Olamide, Ayra Starr, and ASA, among others.
Variety magazine praised the project’s use of live instrumentation and diverse sonic elements. Directed by Meji Alabi and shot in Cape Coast, Ghana, the film stars Savage in her debut lead role as Aisha, exploring themes of identity and reconciliation.
