The first was her 2024 debut studio album, “Born in the Wild,” which reached 900 million Spotify streams before going on to cross 1 billion streams
The achievement makes “For Broken Ears” Tems’ second project to surpass 900 million streams on the platform, further cementing her status as one of Africa’s most-streamed artists. The EP previously crossed 800 million streams in April 2026.
What makes the feat even more impressive is the project’s continued growth six years after release. The EP has reached listeners across 185 countries, while bringing millions of new listeners into Tems’ catalogue.
