Tems has reached another major streaming milestone as her debut album, “Born In The Wild,” surpasses 1 billion streams on Spotify.
The achievement makes “Born In The Wild” the ninth Nigerian album and only the second project by a Nigerian female act to cross the billion-stream mark on Spotify.
Tems now joins Ayra Starr in the exclusive feat, following “The Year I Turned 21,” which has accumulated more than 1.44 billion streams.
The milestone further highlights the sustained global audience for Tems’ music and the growing streaming footprint of Nigerian female artists.
