Spotify has exclusively premiered Asake’s “M$NEY Live in London (Spotify Live)”, a concert film capturing the Nigerian superstar’s landmark performance at London’s historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Filmed during a one-night-only, invite-only event attended by nearly 2,000 fans, the production features Asake performing songs from his chart-topping album “M$NEY”, alongside four previously unreleased tracks.
The album was backed by a live orchestra, a 40-piece choir and acclaimed live band The Compozers, the performance marks the first full-length live album performance film released by Spotify and the first time an Afrobeats artist has headlined the iconic venue.
The exclusive release is accompanied by an audio-only live album on Spotify, giving fans around the world an immersive experience of Asake’s acclaimed live show ahead of his upcoming “M$NEY” tour.
