Spotify brought fans closer to Tems and Runtown during a special two-night edition of its Surround Sound live experience in Lagos.
Held at Livespot on September 25 and 26, the intimate performances gave selected Spotify Premium listeners the opportunity to experience two Nigerian music stars up close.
Tems revisited songs from her acclaimed “For Broken Ears” project, performing fan favourites including “Ice T,” “Damages,” “Burning,” and “Free Mind,” alongside tracks from different stages of her career.
The following night, Runtown delivered a career-spanning set featuring “Lagos to Kampala,” “Gallardo,” “For Life,” “International Badman Killa,” and “Mad Over You.” The latter became a standout moment, with Runtown returning to perform it again as the closing song.
Both performances were filmed for Spotify’s Surround Sound music films, extending the Lagos experience to audiences worldwide.
