Shoday steps into a more visually expressive lane with his latest single, “MOVE,” an energetic release accompanied by an official music video inspired by Childish Gambino’s iconic “This Is America.”
The record, released September 9, pairs Shoday’s melodic Afrobeats style with a movement-focused concept, while the visual adds a more cinematic dimension to the song.
Directed by Shoday and Seyifunmi Makinde, the video draws from the striking visual language of Gambino’s 2018 classic, known for using choreography and contrasting imagery to communicate deeper ideas.
“MOVE” arrives during a busy 2026 for Shoday, following his debut album “HYBRID” and a run of notable releases and collaborations. The new single further expands his creative range while keeping his signature rhythmic energy at the forefront.
