To recall, Ruger was signed to Jonzing World on January 19, 2021 and released his debut track, One Shirt featuring Rema, a Jonzing World signee and the label head, D’prince.

Spending 3 years under Jonzing World, Ruger released 3 official projects including Pandemic, The Second Wave and Ru The World.

The announcement did not come entirely as a surprise to fans as Ruger had been teasing the existence of Blown Boy Entertainment, which already raised speculations that he might be exiting Jonzing World

While we are rooting for Ruger, we are also on the lookout for  Joeboy who also announced his departure from emPawa Africa on the 2nd of February to start his label, Young Legend.
