Stellar Jonzing signee, Ruger kicks off his debut album era with a new single.
Ruger took the whole Nigerian music scene by storm early 2022 with his very unique blend of Afrobeats and Jamaican dancehall and his unique aura- eye patch and pink hair. In his debut year he delivered massively releasing two smash EPs (“Pandemic” and the “Second Wave”) where gems like “Snapchat”, “Bounce” and “Dior” can be found.
At the beginning of this year, the Lagos-born star announced that he has a “crazy ass album” on the way on his Twitter page shortly after receiving his award for the best new Artiste at the Soundcity MVP awards. Close to a month later, he gave a name to the album “RU THE WORLD” and anticipation has been brewing ever since.
Fulfilling his promise, he just announced that the lead single to the album (his debut album) “JONZING BOY” (produced by his usual producer Kukbeats)would be released this Friday.
