Rolling Stone has released its annual list of the Top 100 Albums of the Year, celebrating 100 albums from artists across the globe that made a significant impact in 2024.
Among these, four African albums proudly earned their spots on this prestigious list. Tyla’s self-titled album, “Tyla”, achieved the highest ranking among African artists, landing impressively at the sixth spot.
Following closely was Rema’s album, “HEIS”, who was just shy of the top 10, securing the 11th position.
Tems’ highly acclaimed album, “Born in the Wild”, also earned recognition, placing at number 37. Meanwhile, Ayra Starr rounded out the African representation, with her album coming in at the 53rd spot.
