Oyedele and BoyLiam return with “Silifa,” an Afro-fusion record produced by SixThirty that captures the drama, intrigue and contradictions of love in Lagos.

Built around smooth storytelling and infectious gbedu, the track delivers a sound that is silky, romantic and delightfully unpredictable. Additional vocals from Ms Gail add texture, while ‘Tosin Amire’s grunge guitar arrangement pushes the production towards rock, giving the song an unexpected edge.
“Silifa” is music for pretty women, complicated feelings and nights when nobody can quite agree on anything. Its charm lies in the tension between romance and chaos, as affection turns to frustration and back again.
By the final chorus, everybody loves everybody, everybody hates everybody, and somehow, everybody is still dancing.
