EP opener, Jo kicks things off with an uptempo rhythm and relentless, riotous drums. The sentiment here is braggadocious and the singer bigs himself up for being the man that delivers good jams, while being the life of the party and being a ladies man. He makes it pixel clear that his pockets are deep and he’s willing to flex all night.

On Rendezvouz, things take a romantic turn into a more heartfelt lane and T’Bellz sings about how no one else makes him feel like his love interest. Despite being the pulse of the party and having the charm to pack it up, he doesn’t shy away from expressing himself and in facts wears his emotions on his sleeve. A beat switch that incorporates a garage-esque beat closes out the song.

Playtimi infuses I’ll Wait with dynamism and floats on the mid-tempo beat, suffused with rattles and soft talking drums brewing underneath. The sentiment here remains in heartfelt lane and both artists re-iterate the fact that their love interest is a kindred spirit—which makes their connections special and gives them much needed conviction to wait on her.

Ginger deviates from lovey-dovey territory and has T’Bellz singing about how care free he is and the lengths he’ll go to avoid drama and trouble. Which perfectly sets up closing track, Cheers 2 Life where he takes another moment to relish the sweet pleasures of life, which is a blessing from God. While the opener was geared in the same direction of living large, it was laced with healthy arrogance while Cheers 2 Life has a prayer of gratitude outlook. Hence, the EP comes full circle with polar opposite themes that are well grounded by the connecting tracks.

Back On Track is an apt title for this rich body of work, as it not only delivers great music but positions T’Bellz right on track to mainstream success and resonance through relatable, good music.
