Music Producer Agatchu Impeccably Transitions Into Music Performance With Debut Track “New Maserati” (Review)

Agatchu born Chris Hamiwest, is a producer, singer and songwriter hailing from Luanda the capital city of Angola. Developing a passion for music at a young age, he began his music career as a rapper, joining a rap group named RealorBeatz as a teenager. He has since then travelled extensively across Europe, picking up four languages, including French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

He started his career as a producer collaborating and composing with different artists across the globe, including Dadju, Tayc, Says’z and  Ya Levis which serves as an attestation to his sonic versatility. Owing to his musical innovation, Agatchu has also used his multilingual fluidity to his advantage, creating a distinct form of Folk-Afro and pop sound.
