Celebrated and gifted singer and minister, Tosin Martins has made his long-anticipated comeback to the music scene after a significant while off.
“S’akawe” is an unusual afrocentric live recorded gospel piece, with the full complement of live instrumentations, performed by a collective of some of the best musicians Nigeria can boast of.
The song is an eclectic fusion of familiar genres (highlife, afro, ballad and CCM), with very compelling poly-rhythms and a sweet melody to move even the most stern of enthusiasts.
It is the first and lead single off Tosin Martins’ forthcoming studio EP titled “Under the Influence”. Expected to arrive soon.
Available on all major digital stores and streaming platforms, it promises to leave listeners spell bound and get them quickly singing along.
