The dispute, which sparked conversations among fans and industry observers, revolved around contractual issues and creative differences.

In a surprising development, both parties returned to the table earlier this year, resulting not only in a renewed working relationship but also a creative revival that is gaining attention across the African music scene.

As a sign of their restored synergy, MAJEEED and Dream Empire Music released the single “Blame On Me” shortly after resolving their differences. The track has gone viral, generating over 110,000 TikTok videos, with fans across Nigeria, Ghana, the UK, and the US engaging with its soulful yet defiant message.

“Blame On Me wasn’t just a song. It was a statement,” MAJEEED shared on his official social media. “We went through fire, but the music brought us back. Now the world is moving with us.”

Dream Empire Music also shared: “Conflict tested us. Music healed us. Seeing ‘Blame On Me’ surpass 110k TikTok creations shows that our best work as a team is still ahead.”

With tensions resolved and momentum building, the label has confirmed that MAJEEED’s highly anticipated album is now set for release in Q3 2026.

Industry insiders suggest the project will blend Afrobeats, Afrofusion, and R&B, with collaborations spanning Nigeria, East Africa, and Latin America. Fans can expect the album’s title, tracklist, and lead single to be revealed in the coming months.
