Leczy: One of the highlights of the year so far.

An artiste destined for stardom

Popular Nigerian artist Leczy has been in sensational form this year. The talented act has been having a year to remember with the release of his successful single ‘Hustle‘ which features Zlatan. The song since its release has shot Leczy to greater unseen heights in his musical career.

Leczy who started his career in the late 2010s is popularly known for his ability to regularly take cues from different genres and immerse them in his music. From his Hip-Hop release ‘Am a boss’ to his 7-minute long ‘Piano Piano‘ that draws elements of Dance and African Pop soundscapes and to his Afrobeats inspired ‘Blessings‘ which featured established rapper, Ice Prince.

Hustle‘ is an uptempo track where the artists sing about the need to hustle and be successful.”I want to live a life of fame and fantasy“, Leczy sings on the upbeat production. The track which was released some months ago has earned tractions by avid listeners and potential fans. Zlatan’s contribution is also massive as his fans received it with love.

He has since earned a co-own on Dremo’s ‘Monaco‘ where he showed a different side to his musical abilty. He fitted in seamlessly into the Hip-Hop soundscape. His verse did not in any way diminish the quality of the song instead he contributed more to it.

Now gearing for the release of his debut project, and fresh off the release of lead single ‘Brace for TakeOff‘. Leczy does not seem like he is ready to stop at this point. The newly released track is an introspective song in which the artist recalls his past stories until he became a superstar. The song connects with the soul because it is easily relatable. Leczy states that it is his determination that keeps him going.

Leczy has been subtle with his roll out. He has been teasing it on his social media and his latest releases are just to offer an insight on his abilities and what to expect when his debut project finally arrives. Leczy is one of the best artiste of his generation when all metrics are considered. It is only fitting to see how he rises to the top from this moment. His debut project would surely be a testament and evidence of his abilities, we can hope it comes soon. Till then, his releases this year are enough to take us through the wait.
