In recent years, during this Afrobeats boom, many West African stars have been featured on the international stage, and the most recent is in Janelle Monae’s forthcoming album ‘The Age of Pleasure’.

The R&B/Soul star is set to feature  Ckay, Seun Kuti and Fela’s Egypt 80, Amaarae & more. This is a major positive development for the individual artistes. The project is set to drop this Friday, June 9.
