FRDND, an Afrofusion artist hailing from Port Harcourt City, Nigeria, is on the brink of making his debut with an EP.
Born on April 1, 2004, to parents following the Catholic and Methodist denominations of the Christian faith, FRDND’s passion for music ignited at an early age through exposure to contemporary Afrobeats artists. The spark for his musical journey was lit when he witnessed a video shoot for Burna Boy’s “Follow Me” visuals in 2013.
His debut EP, titled “Drumrolls,” is set to premiere and comprises five fresh tracks. In this project, FRDND collaborates with Emirex and JayDahKidd, adding depth and diversity to the musical experience.
This EP marks a significant step in FRDND’s musical career, blending influences from his early exposure and personal journey into a promising debut release. The project is set for Friday, March 1.
