EMPIRE Africa has released “Where We Come From Vol. 2: Soundscapes,” a bold producer-led instrumental project spotlighting Africa’s sound architects.
More than an album, it is a sonic map of the continent, tracing rhythms and textures while honoring the creativity of producers shaping global music.
The compilation features Kukbeatz, Kooldrink, Dunnie, BlaiseBeatz, Danny Hajj, Niphkeys, Xivo, and Habibeats—blending genres and roots with experimentation.
“Africa is more than Afrobeats and Amapiano,” said Ezegozie Eze, EMPIRE’s VP of Strategy & Market Development.
Coinciding with the release, EMPIRE launched “Publishing Africa,” a platform dedicated to elevating producers and songwriters.
