Born Hassan Yusuf Olatunji, Dejay Olly might not be a familiar name in the Nigerian music space because of his personal decision to be based in South Africa. However, multi-talented Dejay Olly is a Nigerian Disc Jockey, Artist, Producer and label CEO of Olly Entertainments. Also, he recently added the title of ‘artist’ to his name since his final delve into music making professionally this year.

Dejay Olly is one of the creatives with multiple and diverse skill in the African Entertainment space. Having spent his early years in the entertainment industry as a Disc Jockey in South Africa (note that he is still a DJ ), Dejay Olly delved into creating music much later after having made a name for himself.

His debut single is a song titled ‘Faaji‘, a song which featured talented singer and producer Soundz (Funwon) released in June. The song which was widely accepted by audiences and earned massive streams and applauses for an artist just making his debut. Dejay Olly has decided to build on that by giving his audience another single to hold on to before the year runs out.

His upcoming single ‘Salut‘ features an array of artistes including Kush, Le Broda, Jillz, Said, Trilley K. What should we expect? A mid tempo Afropop track like ‘Faaji‘ ? Or would he opt for an up-tempo Amapiano groove? Well that remains to be seen.

The all-round creative will release his new single ‘Salut‘ on Thursday at exactly 11pm. There are high anticipations towards this track and it is not surprising because Dejay Olly always delivers.
