Davido’s “Oriadé” has crossed 100 million streams on Spotify, adding a significant milestone to an album that was built around the idea of legacy, destiny and the crown.
The achievement makes it his fifth project to surpass 100 million streams on the platform.
The milestone carries added weight because “Oriadé” arrived as Davido marked 15 years in music. Derived from the Yoruba words “Ori,” meaning head or destiny, and “Adé,” meaning crown, the title represents a man reflecting on a journey that has taken him from a young star to one of Afrobeats’ defining global figures.
Now, with 100 million Spotify streams, the numbers are adding another layer to Davido’s crowning chapter.
