Nigerian producer Chido Bankz, born Chinedu Odion, explores the dance floor on “Standing Ovation,” a five-track instrumental project blending amapiano and house music.
Opening track “CHIDO Bounce” sets the tone with heavy drums, bass and brass, delivering the kind of infectious rhythm that begs for a hypeman. “Kiss” follows with a catchy trumpet melody, while “Power” introduces darker textures and dramatic siren-like sounds.
“Stanky Leg” brings playful percussion, piano and bouncy rhythms, before “Yesterday” closes the project on a softer, more reflective note.
Across the project, Chido Bankz showcases his knack for crafting energetic, dance-ready instrumentals. Several tracks feel ripe for vocal collaborations, particularly those built to ignite a party crowd.
