Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy has reached another major career milestone, breaking a record without Spotify Monthly Listeners.
The Grammy-winning artist has now surpassed 40 million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time, climbing to 40.2 million listeners on the platform.
The achievement makes Burna Boy the Nigerian artist with the second-highest monthly listener count on Spotify, trailing only Tems, who currently sits at 40.9 million.
It also sees him establish a new all-time record for the highest monthly listeners ever achieved by a male African artiste, surpassing Rema.
