Billiana is an artiste in touch with his emotions and one that is intent on unpacking the unspoken feelings bubbling under the surface, that a lot of people shy away from expressing. His music is personal, but anchored in everyday relatable sentiments to pull listeners in with resonance and connection. And on this new EP titled Unsaid Feelings, Billiana digs deep and says the difficult unaired emotional laundry that most stay away from.

Opening track Ecstasy has Persian/Bollywood choral vocals with a trap fusion beat. The title is self explanatory and Billiana sings to his heart content, iterating repeatedly that his woman brings ecstasy to his world due to her sheer beauty and presence. Steadily Ready is more Afro-Adjacent and heads into mid-tempo pop territory. While this song also has a romantic outlook like the preceding track, the focal point here is Billiana himself and how intoxicating the love he gets from fans and women alike is intoxicating—in the wake of his success as a musician and popstar.

It’s such a profound contrast of love that’s established in both songs, that also bleeds into Surrender. Here the Persian vocal chops return alongside rhythmic guitar strings that make for a tropical soundscape. The production is ideal for Billiana to paint vivid, sensual imagery of his woman. He sings that he willfully surrenders because there’s nothing else to do to someone that sexually appealing. Afterwards, Billiana gets introspective on My Pains, where he gets candid about the crushing weight of living life on the fast lane. He doesn’t mince words in establishing the fact that it’s glamorous and enviable, but the toll could be overbearing and the weight of the statement is audible in his voice.

Resonate closes out the album with grand declarations of love that makes it pixel clear that Billiana wants to make it known to the entire world—and his woman especially—that she’s his one and only. It’s a profound way to cap off the EP by upholding his woman as his one true love in the beginning and the end—like the intro and outros on the EP. Overall, Unsaid Feelings delivers on the promise of great emotional music that will have you yearning for days.
