Following “Mr Money with the Vibe” debut at #22, Asake’s new album “Work of Art” has also not disappointed.
The Official Charts of the UK earlier predicted Asake’s sophomore album to debut at at #21 in the UK, but it did one better by officially debuting at #20, the official website confirms.
It’s #20 debut is 2 spots ahead of the debut and peak position of the enigmatic act’s debut album, Mr Money with The Vibe which debuted at #22.
Of course, as expected, a new Asake update often comes with a new feat or milestone and this is no different. Asake becomes the first ever Nigerian act to debut on the UK official charts with his first two albums.
He also joins Burna Boy(3), Wizkid(3) and Davido(2) as the only Nigerian acts to chart multiple Albums on the UK Official albums chart.
