Asake’s debut album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe,” has achieved a remarkable milestone, joining an exclusive league of record-breaking albums.
Recently, the album surpassed 100 weeks on the NG Spotify Albums chart, making it only the second album to reach this milestone on the platform, following Omah Lay’s “Boy Alone.”
In addition, “Mr. Money With The Vibe” is now one of only three Nigerian albums to have over 100 weeks on any major chart platform, placing Asake alongside music icons Wizkid and Omah Lay in this distinguished achievement.
Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” has spent 192 weeks in the NG iTunes Top 10 and 106 weeks in the NG Apple Music Top 10. Meanwhile, Omah Lay’s “Boy Alone” has accumulated 103 weeks in the NG Spotify Top 10. Now, Asake’s “Mr. Money With The Vibe” adds to this record with its 100-week presence in the NG Spotify Top 10.
