Adekunle Gold is set to headline the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre, in Lagos on December 26, 2026.
The announcement comes a year after the singer made history as the first artiste to sell out the iconic venue with his concert on December 26, 2025.
Adekunle Gold filled the theatre’s 3,560-capacity main hall, marking a major milestone for live music in Nigeria. His historic performance featured a fusion of orchestral arrangements and Afrobeats, with appearances from Olamide, Adewale Ayuba and Yinka Ayefele.
Following the achievement, the singer received commemorative plaques recognising his record-breaking concert. His return this December sets the stage for another major Detty December moment as he looks to recreate the magic of last year’s performance.
