Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos: Deluxe Edition” has officially surpassed 1.3 billion streams on Spotify, putting it among elite albums on Nigerian Spotify.
With this achievement, it has officially become the sixth most-streamed Nigerian project of all time on the platform.
Originally released in 2021 as an expanded version of his 2020 album, “Made in Lagos,” the project features songs including “Essence” featuring Tems and Justin Bieber, “Ginger” featuring Burna Boy, and “Mood” featuring BNXN.
The album played a significant role in Wizkid’s global breakthrough, helping further elevate Afrobeats on the international stage.
