Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” is closing in on another major milestone in the United States, with the album surpassing 985,000 units.
The feat puts the 2020 project within striking distance of RIAA Platinum certification, which requires one million certified units.
“Made in Lagos” has enjoyed sustained commercial success in the US, becoming the first African album to earn RIAA Gold certification after surpassing 500,000 units in 2022.
With the project now fewer than 15,000 units away from the one-million mark, “Made in Lagos” is on course to become another landmark achievement for Wizkid and African music in the US.
