Weekly Albums Chart Round-Up: Wizkid, ODUMODUBLVCK, Shallipopi & more

It’s the dawn of a new week and tradition demands that we update you on how numerous albums fared across various charts and DSP’s in the past week. From the Billboard charts to the UK charts and the various streaming platforms.

Billboard World Albums Chart

Rema’s Rave & Roses has now spent a sum total of 80 weeks on the Bullboard World Albums chart, thus making it the 2nd African album to hit this mark after Wizkid’s Made In Lagos and the first African debut album to do so. It dropped 2 places to #5 in its 80th week.

Burna Boy’s I Told Them moved up a spot to #8 and has now spent 24 weeks on the chart.

NG Apple

Wizkid’s S2 has now spent an eight non-consecutive week at the top of the NG Apple albums chart, after being shortly displaced by Kanye West and TY Dollar Sign’s Vultures.

Spotify NG

ODUMODUBLVCK’s EZIOKWU has now spent 16 weeks atop the NG Spotify Weekly albums chart. It is the 2nd longest charting #1 album on spotify NG, behind Asake’s Mr. Money With The Vibe and the longest charting #1 album by a rapper.

Audiomack

Shallipopi’s Presido La Pluto is still waxing strong on Audiomack, as the #1 album for several weeks now. Seyi Vibez’s NAHAMciaga is #2 and Burna Boy’s I Told Them is #3.
