Weekly Albums Chart Round-Up: Shallipopi, ODUMODUBLVCK, Rema & more

Week Of November 27th – December 3rd

Another week has come and gone and in usual fashion, we’ll be bringing updates on how different albums fared across various charts. From the Billboard world album charts to the UK charts and the streaming platforms.

Billboard World Albums Chart

Burna Boy’s I Told Them moved 2 spots down to #10 on this week’s Billboard World Albums Chart. The album has peaked at #2 and has spent a whooping 13 weeks on the chart.

NG Apple Music

ODUMODUBLVCK’s new Deluxe Edition of his acclaimed Mixtape “EZIOKWU” peaked at #1 on NG Apple, making it his second chart topping project of 2023. It dethroned Shallipopi’s Presido La Pluto after the LP had spent 3 weeks at the top.

In other news, Burna Boy’s I Told Them has now spent 14 weeks in the top 10 of NG Apple. Asake’s Work Of Art has now spent 23 weeks in tbe NG Apple Top 10 and Seyi Vibez isn’t left out in this metric also, as Thy Kingdom Come has now spent 19 weeks in the top 10.

Spotify NG

Shallipopi’s Presido La Pluto completed its third week, at the top of Spotify NG’s weekly album chart. Rema’s Rave & Roses has now crossed over 2 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the first album by an African artists.

Audiomack

Shallipopi’s Presido La Pluto is still the top project on Audiomack, with Mohbad’s Blessed coming in hot at #2. ODUMODUBLVCK’S EZIOKWU (UNCUT) is at #3 and it seems that it could rise even higher as time goes by.

Boomplay

Shallipopi’s Presido La Pluto has now spent 4 whole weeks at the top of the Boomplay albums chart. Davido’s Timeless is at #2, Blaqbonez’s Emeka Must Shine and ODUMODUBLVCK’S EZIOKWU is at 4. Kizz Daniel’s’ Maverick rounds up the top 5.
