Weekly Albums Chart Round-Up: Muyeez, Young Jonn, Shallipopi & more

Week Of May 12th – May 18th

It’s the dawn of a new week and tradition demands that we update you on how numerous albums fared across various charts and DSP’s in the past week. From the Billboard charts to the UK charts and the various streaming platforms.

Billboard World Albums Chart

Rema’s “Rave & Roses” remains at #9 this week, and has previously peakes at #2, having spent a total of 93 weeks on the charts. Tyla’s “Tyla” drops a spot down to #2 in its 7th week, after spending 3 weeks at the top of the chart. Meanwhile, Burna Boy’s “I Told Them” has departed from the chart for the first time, after spending a total of 36 weeks on it.

NG Apple

Muyeez’s self-titled EP, has now peaked at #1 on the NG Apple albums chart.

In other milestones news, Asake’s “Work Of Art” has now spent 34 weeks in the NG Apple Top 10. Burna Boy’s “I Told Them” has spent 38 weeks in the top 10 and Seyi Vibez’s “NAHAMciaga” has spent 23 weeks in the top 10.

Spotify NG

Young Jonn’s “Jiggy Forever” has now spent 4 weeks atop the NG Spotify weekly albums chart.

Audiomack

Vibez’s Inc’s “Vibez Incorporation Mixtape Vol. 1” has spent yet another week atop the Audiomack albums chart, with Muyeez’s self-titled EP debuting at #2.

Boomplay

The top 3 remains unchanged from last week. Shallipopi still occupies the top 2 spots with “Shakespopi” at #1 and “Presido La Pluto” at #2. Kizz Daniel’s “TZA” continues to hold down the forte at #3.
