Tweehz is set to make a return with “Egwu Sporty,” a lively Ogene-inspired track that celebrates the humor, hustle, and hope within Nigeria’s sports-betting culture.
Produced by Kulsolo, the song pulses with vibrant Igbo percussion and Tweehz’s signature storytelling, painting vivid scenes of checking slips on Bet9ja, chasing Nairabet wins, and living for the odds.
“Music and football have always been big parts of my life,” says Tweehz. “Egwu Sporty” follows the Afro-Fuji vibes of “Thankful” and the Amapiano-infused “Sapa Loving,” while staying grounded in cultural rhythm.
A community football game is planned in celebration, with a debut EP to arrive in 2026. The single will be released on April 29, 2025.
