Troniq Music have had to build underground and make a name for themselves in the saturated industry with their hard work and dedication to artist development in the Nigeria industry. The label might not be a household name or spearheading the Afrobeats To The World moment as other established labels have done, but it is one of the leading record labels to have had success in discovering, nurturing and promoting talented artists from the industry’s underbelly and to the top.

Famously remembered for its collaboration project “Eclipse EP” with Oxlade in 2021 – who is one of the many talented artists on the label’s rosters – which spurned critically acclaimed record “Ojuju” and the beautiful one of one record “More“, it has moved swiftly to establish itself as a major player in the Nigerian music industry.

Now possessing a wide range of artists on its roster including Kohdee, Kemuel, Solis4evr, Pita who have gone on to thrill their target audience and establish a stake for their name in the industry and Nelly Baradi who’s just making her debut but has appeared on some of the biggest songs in Nigeria since 2022 as a vocalist or songwriter.

When asked about the single, the Troniq Music said

On our roster, we have an incredible pool of immensely talented artists. It’s been a while since our last release, “Eclipse”, so we felt it was the perfect moment to showcase these talents through this enthralling track, “Dirty”. It highlights the creativity and passion of our artists but we’ll let you be the judge. Exciting times are definitely ahead“.

On “Dirty“, Troniq Music showcases the diverse range of talents under its supervision, with four of its artists making an appearance except for Pita and Solis4evr. The collaboration brings together the unique styles of each artist, blending Oxlade’s smooth vocals, Kohdee’s energetic flow, Nelly Baradi’s captivating charm, and Kemuel’s soulful sound into a seamless musical experience.

Carefully exploring the thrill of youthful attraction and connection, the singers flow of each other’s energy on the bouncy production that has the major elements of a summer vibe in it. Bouncing off each other’s contribution, each artist flows slickly and finds good pockets for their delivery so much that they all come out on top equally.

Dirty” is that song for the summer with its calm, balmy and immersive nature. Collaborations are expected to be to the strengths of each artist involved and it does exactly just that. Pulling in four artists all together, each artist weighs in their contributions without affecting the other, creating a synergy that has a central concentration and everybody tapping into it the best way they can.

With everybody in sync, following similarly in one creative and thematic direction, this record showcases the possibly the best record produced by a four way collaboration that the country has witnessed in this decade. Significantly, it displays the progress and contribution made by the label. It’s on from here.
