In a recent video circulating the internet, Davido has referred to his first project released under his new label at the time as a failure.
In the extensive interview, Davido shared some history about his journey to the States and how he signed a record deal and released his first project.
According to him, the first project he released under Sony, the “Son Of Mercy EP,” was a failure, stating that “by his standards, it did not meet expectations, contrary to what others might think “…my first project failure failure to me, to my standard some people might see it as a success, but to my standatd that wasn’t it…”
