After a breakout run that positioned him as one of Afrobeats’ most exciting new voices, Shoday is set to release his debut album, “Hybrid.”
The project captures the duality that defines his rise: street-rooted yet melodic, confident yet romantic, viral yet intentional.
The album follows a huge year that produced fan favourites like “Nakupenda” and the street anthem “Hey Jago” with Poco Lee and Rahman Jago.
His momentum peaked with “Paparazzi” featuring FOLA, which topped Spotify Nigeria, YouTube Nigeria, Apple Music Lagos, and the TurnTable Top 100, while going viral on TikTok.
“Hybrid” features Kizz Daniel, Olivetheboy, Ayo Maf, Taves, Pozer, and Bhadboi OML, showcasing Shoday’s range across vibrant street records and intimate, melodic moments.
