Rowlando’s debut project titled “Juju EP” is upon us.

Fast rising Afro-Fusion act Rowlando, born Ikechukwu Rowland is a Nigerian singer and songwriter that hails from Abia State.
Rowlando, the rising Prince of Afro Fusion.

He came on to the scene in 2019 with his single titled “Nothing“. Singles such as “Wait” and “Farawe” which was released earlier this year followed. These singles backed up his claims as one of the finest and talented in the underground level in the industry.

After a few years in the industry and enormous experience gained, his debut project is a well timed one. Rowlando’s debut project is scheduled to be released this Friday (just five days after his birthday). The extended play titled Juju” is set to contain five tracks with one guest feature of popular Afropop duo, Bracket. This is perhaps his plan to move higher above the underground level.

Seeped in Afro-fusion, His willingness to aptly add R&B, Highlife, Dancehall elements to his Afrobeats style without looking out of place needs to be studied. He has that versatility to adapt to different range of music styles, and it is one of the things to be expectant of in his upcoming EP. On this project he worked majorly with his long time producer, Blaqnote, whose synergy and connection has been magnificent in the following tracks aforementioned. It would be interesting to see how they can combine their energy to create good music again.

So far our predictions about the project is that it would have a love based creative direction and possibly enchantment in love, due to the artistic directions we have seen. Whatever it is, we are anticipating the extended play with utmost desire. This is something to look forward to from an artist with a near perfect discography so far.

Friday, and we have it.
