REMA’s sophomore album “HEIS” has just set a record for Afrobeats albums with its first-week streaming numbers.

The album accumulated the highest opening week streams for any album released in 2024 on NG Spotify, amassing an impressive 12.4 million streams.

This achievement makes “HEIS” the most-streamed album by first-week margin released in 2024, surpassing Burna Boy’s “I Told Them,” which garnered 9.4 million streams.

The album’s debut week performance only trails behind Davido’s “Timeless,” which leads with 14.4 million streams.
