Relentless Topwav delivers on “Relocate & JumpOff”

Topwav comes through with another smashing sociopolitical, commentary-filled track.

Topwav, popularly known for always making music that has its themes centered around occurrences in his immediate environment, has mastered the art of expressing the fullness of his feeling through his sound.

On his debut project ‘Election Tape‘, he created a project that has a thematic and idea similarity to Show Dem Camp’s Clone Wars series. That said, Topwav has always aimed to express his take on happenings in Nigeria on several tracks. Singles like ‘Cash Out N Japa‘, ‘Defending Nonsense‘ and the aforementioned debut project houses most of his socio-political opinions.

However, ‘Relocate and JumpOff‘ follows a similar theme while having a groovy bounce. On this track, Topwav craves for soft life more than ever ( soft life like puff puff / No more struggling for bus stop ). Interestingly, Topwav has recently released crispy visuals for this amazing record to further amplify its appeal. It would not be surprising if it becomes one of the public anthems ahead of next month’s National elections.

The song’s fluidity of purpose and replay value are also likely to play a key role in its success. With the electric act announcing his third album is scheduled for release next month, the song would surely enjoy its own spell of dominance in the country.
