They recently had a very pleasant development, a major step in the right direction for the label, as they appointed Omolola Ige, an accomplished marketing strategist, as their Marketing Manager.

Omolola Ige is already an established name in the music business with years of work experience under her belt at Chocolate City, working with numerous major music acts such as Blaqbonez, Joeboy, Lojay, and Young John, among others. She has also successfully developed and executed project marketing plans, managed marketing schedules and assets, and optimized the online presence of both the company and the artists.

Her resume and previous dealings make her a perfect fit for the position, and she had this to say about it: “Joining Sony Music West Africa is a dream come true for me. The company’s dedication to nurturing creativity and pushing boundaries aligns perfectly with my own passion for developing innovative marketing campaigns that resonate deeply with audiences.” This heartfelt moment is a win for both her and Sony Music.
